Nissan has issued a Voluntary service campaign on the 2007 350z mt clutch slave cylinder. Infiniti might have one so you guys might want to call or check with Infiniti.

Hmm I wonder if our 07's Qualify for this? They are basically the same motors and trans? Not sure, but better to check than be sorry when the clutch Craps out all of a sudden!

 

This does apply to the 07 G35s. My service advisor called me this morning and told me that Infiniti released a TSB for this.

 

WOW? Really? I guess I will be calling my Infiniti dealer to find out if this is true? Have they posted the TSB for the Infiniti's yet?

 

Since my service advisor called me to inform me of the slave cylinder issue and schedule an appointment to get it fixed, I would assume that Infiniti released a TSB.

 

What are the issues and symptoms of a defective slave cylinder? Is it a fail/no fail situation?

 

Just got off the phone with Infiniti Customer Care. (800-662-6200 option 7).

The TSB for Clutch Slave Cylinder for 07 G35 6MT is: ITB08-001

I was told to bring my car in at my convenience despite having no symptoms.

yup Confirmed! this recall is also for 07 G35 Sedans with 6MT! I never had this problem yet, but going to get this fix done, So I hopefully never have this problem! Called my Local Infiniti Service, and he confirmed that my car is part of this recall, and ordered the parts for me!
