Linking Seat memory to Intelligent Key?

I've tried linking my key to the Memory1. However, I am not too sure that it is configured. This is what I did to test.... Link key, move the seats, start the car thinking the seat will go to my memory 1 setting but it didn't... Am i missing something?

By the way, i followed instructions here:

To Set Customized Seat, Steering, and Mirror Position Memory:
1 Push the ignition switch to ON mode. Keep the transmission in P (PARK) for vehicles with
Automatic transmission, and in N (NEUTRAL) with the parking brake applied for vehicles
with Manual transmission.
2 Adjust the seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors to the desired positions.
3 Press the SET button. The indicator lights on both Memory
buttons 1 and 2 will illuminate.
4 Within 5 seconds, press Memory button 1 or 2 and hold
down for at least 1 second. The indicator light on the
Memory button you select will illuminate solid for
approximately 5 seconds. Seat/steering/mirror memory is
now set to your preference.
5 Link the seat/steering/mirror memory to your Intelligent Key.
While the indicator light on the Memory button is illuminated (see step 4, above), press
the UNLOCK button on your Intelligent Key. The indicator light on the Memory button
chosen will blink ON and OFF approximately 10 times. The memory is now matched to
the Intelligent Key. You may set the second seat/steering/mirror memory positions to
your other Intelligent Key by repeating the steps above.

That's the way I did mine. Works every time. (I change it at least once a week, I can't seem to get comfortable in this damn car)

I figured that, the car only knows which key to use for the memory seat, when you unlock the door. When I was testing, I never got out. Once I left the car, and came back, it did something funky where the steering wheel adjusted.. So I think it's working....

Really?
I pulled the steering wheel all the way towards me with the seat backed & lowered all the way, with the backrest @ about 80-85 degrees. Fits me perfectly.

I'm about 6'1" or 2", @ 200 lbs. How tall/heavy are you?

5'11" lean/muscular 200 pnds. The sport seats suck. I ordered non sport seats for my sports packaged BMW last time around. Wish Infiniti offered the same thing...... For some reason sport seats are EXTREMELY uncomfortable to me.

I'm gonna give the Sport Seats a good look on my next visit to the dealer.
If I like them enough... I'm gonna be shopping around for someone to swap with.
There seems to be people with non-sports who want sport seats.... and people with sport models wanting non-sport seats.
It's an easy swap and it's win/win!
