Chip for 07'+ sedans??

I was wondering if anyone knows of any chips out on the market for the 07+ sedans, that would give a substantial HP/TQ gain? I would love to get some more HP outta my car. Thanks in advance!

Most likely not.....

Most of the time they are bogus. Until someone on the forum actually dynoes them, it's best to just stay away from them.

LOL

I dare you to try this!

An increase of 45 HP and 45 Ft/Lb Torque as well as an increase of 7-10 MPG... all for the low, low price of $9.00!!!
There's gotta be someone here crazy enough to try it.
Let us know.

No aftermarket ECU yet. HP gains would be minimal anyway. Most reprogrammed ECU's benefit already modded cars and forced induction cars the most.

There have been a couple of threads that Cobb Tuning and Technosquare are working on two different solutions. Cobb (am planning to buy that) says they're coming out this month.

Japanese octane of 100 equates to US octane of around 95. Achievable with 93 octane at the pump plus a good octane booster, if anyone cared to go that route.

$695, I think? I like it because a) you can change the programming on the ECU more than once, and b) you can also change it back to the original factory specs. The AccessPort is a programming unit that attaches through the OBDC port (I think), and you flash the ECU then remove it - or keep it attached and change programs on the fly.

Most States sell only 91 octane as their Premium fuel. FYI just to get 94 octane from 91 octane requires a 1:1 mix with 100 octane

I didn't know that about most states. In PA 93 is the norm, and Sunoco used to sell 94 Ultra (don't know if they still do); my G has had a steady diet of 93 with occasional 92. There are a few octane boosters that can give you 2 points on a tank, most will yield more like .2 on a tank

Here's a nice review with test results. In short, two bottle of Lucas would raise 20 gallons of 93 to 96.6. If you shop around you can get it from $7-10 a bottle, so that would add $0.70-$1.00 per gallon to the cost of 93 octane. I'm not recommending this to anyone, just saying it's doable, especially for a track day.

Apparently Lucas contains MMT, so it is not street legal.

wow, i have been waiting on the technosquare reflash thinking it was the only option. but if cobb comes out with that power commander hand held tuning device. i am all over it.

93 is the norm here in the south.
