Staggered or same width all-around???

Hi, guys. I have a 2007 Base G35 Sedan, and I'm in the market to getting new rims. I have always liked the 18" rims of the first generation G35 Coupe. The width of the 4 rims is 8" and I was wondering if I should go with 235's width all around, or if I could maybe staggered the setup to 225's in the front and 245's in the back??? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If the rims are all 8" around, I'd go with all 235 or 245's all around,

I personally don't like staggered only because I like the idea of rotating, it'll save you alot of tires in the long run...

I'd only stagger if the rims are different sizes..

Even still, I don't like the staggered look, my personal opinion whereas most people here probably like the supa phat dished rims for the rears

i am mostly inclined to go same width all around for the same reason you posted. But I wasn't sure of any advantages the staggered setup really has over the regular setup.

it's for performance/handling, especially for cars with alot of HP, but you'll realize that the base and AWD comes with non staggered set up...

most of us don't modify to the point we need traction to the wheel nor do we take our cars to the track to want optimal handling...

most of us use it as commuter cars...

You must remember that the offset of the coupe wheels is greater than the stock 07/08 sedan wheels. I had the new sedan wheels put on my 03 coupe and they looked like **** because they were about 3 inches recessed into the wheel well even though there the same size rims. So im guessing the coupe wheels with there offset will stick out passed the wheel well a good amount.

245/45/18 tires work well and look good on all 4 corners.

good point about the offsets, I don't know what the old coupes were, +35 or +30 ish?
if so, it's not too bad, our sedan is like +40, and it's already somewhat recessed/sunken...

I read somewhere that the offset was 30mm. What actually is the offset refering to?? Do you think that the wheels will look like he is saying???
