Can the '07 G35 have two sets of TPMS sensors registered to it?

Okay, I've had my '07 G for about a year now, and I think it's finally time for me to get a new set of wheels/tires. When looking at the big tire warehouses (like tirerack), most of them can provide a set of TPMS sensors with the wheels/tires for the infiniti G35. However I have two questions:

1) If I get a new set of TPMS sensors from tirerack, do I still need to go to inifiniti to have them registered with my car? (based on some other threads, it sounds like I do)

2) I'd like to keep the original TPMS sensors with the OEM wheels so I can use them in the winter. (The Northeast can be pretty harsh on chrome wheels.) If I keep them, does anyone know if the car will still recognize the old OEM TPMS sensors, even though the new ones are now registered with the car?

Has anyone else come across this scenario? Thanks.

After doing much research on the topic the answer is no. If you have 2 sets of tires then you need to go to the dealer to get the second set of tire recognized or put up with the light in the dash
