If you put the larger sizes on the '07 G35 Sport, can you (1) make adjustments yourself for the affect on the speedometer or have to get the dealer to do it,and (2) will the larger size in the front cause any rubbing issues, and finally (3) will they affect the handling in any adverse way? Thanks for any info.

people who track usually have multiple wheels, it's trial and error, i guess...
with my old car, i had like 12 wheels w/ tires
i don't think this is an easy question to answer, wheel spec and tires makes a huge difference, as well as type of track racing (autox, small course, large course, course with alot of turns, etc etc)
in general, the larger the wheel, the lower the profile, the less sidewall flex, and more response
problem with larger wheel is that it's heavier (both wheel and tire)
for me (i would not expect the car to win championships and such), i'd opt for 20's all around, same size, same spec, 20's tires are dirt cheap, and i can rotate (our G, non sport, comes with same wheel and tires all around), unless the G make gobs of power, then i'd get wider rears...

1. google tire calculator and then you'll see couple sites that compares your stock tire sizes to your new one, you can see that there is generally a size that's really really close to stock, or better yet, look at the picture thread, people have different wheels and different sizes with tire specs
2. no, not really, unless you go super wide, stock width is like 7.5", if you go 10" then probably, most people have anywhere between 7.5 (stock) to 9
3. depends, if you get larger wheel (diameter) and retain stock width, then yes, the tires become narrow and handling will suffer, as long as you retain the same ratio diameter and width (or go wider, handling will improve), drawback in getting larger wheels/tires is generally cost, bumpier ride and lower mpg
