Im about to hit 1k on the brand new car already and my mechanic said I should do my first oil change then, ive heard u can do it at 500 miles too....i dont even want to know what my salesman would tell me when to change bc i know he wont know for crap....i tried searching and couldnt

also I will be running amsoil 5w30 like i do in all my cars......whens the correct time to switch from the factory oil???? my mechanic said its ok at 1k.....
