Okay, so I was trying to get fan only (a/c off) and recirculate on (no fresh air from outside), anyone able to do that by toggling the damn mode and a/c buttons?

I can only seem to get a/c on and recirculate on or off
or just fan on (a/c off) and recirculate off, fresh air only

punching the mode button doesn't get me there...

nope. a/c is always on in recirculate mode.

i usually ride with it in auto at 70 degrees with a/c off.

 

that's what i figured... i sometimes prefer the old school non luxury car where i can do things manually...

depending on the weather, sometimes i like to drive with just the fan going, but then i live in great socal, smog capital of usa, and sometimes you get behind a truck/bus/busted crappy car that spews out nice smoke cloud and i want to switch my recirculation mode...
