VDC/Slip Lights

I have to drive home this really steep hill everyday when I go home.

The last two days when I am driving up the hill I notice the parking brake light go on (and it is not on) and then it turns off. Then all of a sudden the VDC light comes on and says off and the SLIP light stays on. Both of these lights stay on until I turn off the car and when I turn it on they are gone.

Also, if I press the VDC button off and on during this time it does nothing.

I am not sure what is going on - so I tried to recreate it again but it did not do it.. any ideas? should I be worried?

I had the brake fluid in my car changed a couple of weeks ago. The tech noticed that when the fluid level was low the brake, VDC and Slip lights turned on. It was a warning that the brake fluid level was low. Since you were on a steep hill, due to the incline, maybe the system sensed that the bake fluid level was low, thus turning the warning lights.

Does this make any sense???

Might want to get some stuff checked - my SLIP light only comes on when I'm drifting through exit ramps!!

How do you reproduce the problem to show the dealer?

It happened again today going up the hill..

My brake fluid is in between low and high so I am going to add some more.
