For those with tinted windows and nav

Any of you guys with the 07+ sedan with tinted windows ever have what sounds like a popping sound from your nav? If I have my car in the "ON" position, and then go to start the car, it makes a popping noise from where it seems to be the bluetooth speaker.

Anyone?

What do you mean "ON" position? Meaning that you turned the car off while in the navigation screen, so when you start your car the confirmation screen asking for the "ok" automatically comes on?

If that's what you are referring to, I do have tints and nav. But I have yet to hear any noises. I'll pay more close attention to it when I leave work.

Why the correlation between tinted windows and the popping noise?

Has nothing to do with the tint. My car has done this from the get-go. However, it is not consistent. Like you say, turn the car on without starting the engine, and later, press the clutch and start the car, "POP!"

yea, i have tint and nav and i also have the popping noise and i dont think it's from the tint. Its whenever i turn the battery/accessories on and listen to the radio w/o the engine on, if i press on the brake to turn on the engine it'll pop while the engine kicks in

I have Nav w/ Tint.. but no noise here
I don't think that popping sound would be related to the tint issue.
Check w/ the dealer and see what they have to say about it.

Did you take it to the dealer, or did you find the cause?

The dealer fixed it. It was a shortage of my amp. They were wondering about the tint for whatever reason that's why I posted. But it's all better now.
