I've had my 08 g35x auto for a few months now. I have noticed something that I believe is just the way the trans. is. Let me know if you guys have seen the same thing.

At almost exactly 40mph, it seems like the car is in too high a gear and/or it locks the torque converter. It seems to early to do that at 40mph since the RPMs are fairly low and I get a slight vibration. Very slight actually. It' s almost the exact feeling as driving a manual and slowing down too much for a give gear. For example 5th at 40mph, depending on the car of course. Anyway, I have had 3 manuals in the past few years, this is my first time going back to auto in a long time. So it's probably just me, but it does get annoying.

You guys notice the same thing???
