Cool Having trouble with blue tooth

Wondering if anyone is having trouble with blue tooth. I have a 2008 G35x and my phone doesn't always connect. Sometimes it will connect but I cannot hear anyone. My wifes phone will disconnect and reconnect often while driving. So both phones have some trouble. Just wondering if this is just what blue tooth is or could it be my car?

What kind of phones are you using?

I have a blackberry 8830 and lately I have been having trouble getting it to connect, but it always sorts itself out after I reboot the phone. My old Samsung a900 flip phone was absolutely useless with the bluetooth in the G, if it connected everyone commented that I sounded like I was talking in a barrel.

My blackjack disconnects and reconnects often. Other than that i works well. Well... besides that none of the options infiniti says it should do works. I only have the antenna symbol. no battery, no signal strength.

What phone actually does these things???

My Nokia connects everytime to my 08 x without issue. Check your phones bluetooth settings.

My blackberry does everything it's advertised to do. I have the battery and signal indicators at the top of the screen, it can transfer my phonebook contacts to the car easily, voice dialing works well when I say the full phone number (all 9 digits) or a programmed voice tag.

I'm using my 2+ year old Audiovox SMT5600, and have no problems at all. It connects every time and stays connected, and both reception and voice clarity via bluetooth are decent. Not sure why yours is not working properly, could be your service provider.

I had problems with my car and 3 different phones, and finally just gave up. Granted, one of the phones wouldn't connect reliably to any bluetooth device, but the car's system sucks unless you have a phone that's been tested and approved.

I've had the Motorola Razr v6 maxx, razr v3xx, razr v9, and now the z9. All work perfectly with the bluetooth except for the inability to transfer my entire phonebook at once (still working on that solution and have come real close to solving it). BTW these phones are for AT&T.

I understand that most verizon phones restrict their bluetooth capabilities and have a ton of problems. If your phone is verizon that could be the case. My z9 hasn't been tested yet but it is pretty much the same phone as the v9 razr so it makes sense that it will work as advertised for the v9.
