Need your Help. Dead Car Battery.

i woke to go to work to find out my car is dead. car doesnt lock or unlock. no gauge lights. the brake is stiff, and of course no start. i figure it was the battery, so i tried to jump it with my brother's car, let it sit for a few mintues to charge, and still no power. any thoughts? thanks. im planning on calling roadside assistance when i get back from work.

Are the battery connections tight? Sounds like something isn't attached, unless you didn't let it charge long enough. Do you have power when the jumper cables are attached? if not, no connection.

I'm confused, does the battery not take a charge? Or will the car not start? Or both?

If the car will jump start, but won't restart (i.e. the battery won't charge), it's the battery.

If the car won't start at all, and has no power..... your problem is elsewhere. Call the dealership.

Remember when the 07's first came out and everyone starting having dead battery issues? It turned out to be that people were listening to the stereo while waxing the cars.
The car can only sit for about 2 hours while pulling a draw from the battery.

Did you accidently hit the power button twice when shutting her down?
That would have put it into Accessory mode... which will kill the battery in just a few hours.

Dunno, just a thought.
