Don't wish I did, don't even know what the hell it does... something about adjusting brakes to match wheel speed turn-in during corners to make the car more stable or something... not sure if that's right or not but it was never a thought of a "I'd like to have"...

its 4 wheel steering. and it kicks in at high speeds. like on a fast on/off ramp.

it also changes the steering ratio from 12/1 all the way to 22/1.

i love it...

wow... sounds like it's pretty cool. so it actually turns the rear wheels... i thought I read that it's using the brakes to control speed to help turns, guess i'm wrong. also, my salesmand didn't know a whole lot about some of the options... a lot of what I knew about the car was from research... but i missed the 4WAS I guess.

if you look at ur posted pic, the black hunk of metal that is right behind the diff, where the lower arms that carry the springs attach to.

on mine, its an electronic rack that can move about an inch.

from my recollection, i think they've had the 4WAS for a generation or so now...of course it is more refined now...

Don't hold me to this, but I think the first ones were on the 300zx where the rear wheels turned like 5 degrees at higher speeds...

Nah I don't feel that way at all...I remember when I was contemplating getting an Audi, I told myself I would not get servo-steer...their system tightens the steering at higher speeds...I don't like any of that "help us help you stuff" to be honest with you....which is also why I'm against the ICC and things of that sort...

While we're completely off topic, I'll go ahead and give up another idea I had for my car. I'm really really wanting to run some Berk HFCs but I can't get the exhaust any louder than what it is, just don't want it that way. I'm thinking of getting some round bullet resonator/mufflers to put inline in the piping to muffle it just a tad more. If I do it and am successful with taking a little more noise out, then I'll probably move on the Berks idea.

I truly believe the quietness from the stock car comes from the resonators not so much the mufflers and that's why some of these kits get louder, the resonators supplied are pretty small and they're relying on the mufflers to do it. For instance, the 'resonator' in my exhaust system is pretty small, mainly it's just a slightly resonated X-crossover and the mufflers are doing most of the work.

I made a couple pics of what I was thinking. I can get these round bullet mufflers from 12" to whatever length, I figure 12" or 14" is all I can get by with. Any thoughts?
