adding shock sensor to factory 07-08 sedan alarm?

has anyone tried this yet?

here is a thread on the g35 coupe..
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...t=shock+sensor

i'd like to add both a shock and a tilt sensor to my factory alarm (g37) so i thought i'd see if anyone with a newer sedan has tried it yet

yea that's what i'm trying to find out.

had a look at the g37 repair manual, all i could really find related was one wire labeled as "Anti theft horn relay control"

might check out a few local places that install alarms and see what they have to say about it

I have both those sensors and more... but NOT with the stock alarm, i have the Viper 5701(got a killer deal), its new and is one of the best alarms i have ever used and the remote is quite small and elegent, looks oem if you decide to go aftermarket definitely check it out...

i thought about going after market, but won't you have to carry around 2 remotes then? for the push button start / door handle buttons, blah blah..

that and i rather like the little beep you get when locking the door with the door handle button, instead of the loud normal chirp the viper horn gives off (at least on the past 2 cars i've had viper alarms on)

i dunno, i'll stop by a local viper dealer and see what they say

same here, i didn't want to carry more then one fob. so i got some bump sensors online. (5 of them) and i dunno where to hook them up.

i thought about doing it on the trunk pin, and on the hood pin.

haven't gotten any further then my thoughts tho....

the sensors i have in that post are universal. you would just have to find the correct wires for your car, as those are for the g35.

i would still recommend installing inside the cabin like i did in that post.

let me know if anyone has any questions.

I'll take all 8 of them if your avatar delivers them in person.

da mayor posted on another forum about glass break sensors (probably more or less like a shock sensor) and also a blacked out grill being available through Infiniti for the '09 sedans. Should likely be able to retrofit to '07'08's.

been looking through the g37 manual, didn't see anything about a trunk pin wire..

but i just found one diagram that shows "trunk room lamp switch" > BCM > < CAN Communication > IPDM E/R > Horn / Headlamp

trunk room lamp switch is on connector m121, terminal 50, and is a red wire according to the manual

don't have my car right now so i can't look and see
