Is fix-a-flat TPMS safe?

Has anyone used fix-a-flat without damaging the TPMS?

i don't know if you'd damage it but it'd be a mess for sure. i wouldn't do it, just use the roadside assistance or your spare.

Yes it is "safe", but it'll be messy to clean up

Fix-a-flat is garbage. I would never shoot that stuff into one of my tires.

My honda came with a can of Fix-a-Flat, and it is equipped with TPMS.

I don't think they'd do that if it damaged the system.

I do. Get a flat, use what Honda provided and they then get to serve you the bill when you need a new sensor installed.

I saw a video that showed the sealer eat away at the rim when it was left in. They stated that it was alright for a quick fix but to get it changed out as soon as possble.

just google and you will find MANY horror stories of the fix a flat messing up your TPMS which makes sense to me... but it will work for the moment, i have aftermarket TPMS (w/psi dispaly ) and the instruction says DO NOT use any such "fix-a-flat" as it MAY damage the sensors and WILL void the 1yr warranty..
