2007 vs 2008 changes
I did a search but didn't come up with any solid results.
I was wondering what changes were made to the 2008 G35 sedans vs the 2007's. Also, what is the tell-tale factor that a G35 sedan is a Journey edition? Moonroof?
Thanks!

My guess is that some redneck with a thick southern accent (apparently that is the hardest English accent for voice recognition). Kept trying to tell the computer to turn up the volume on Freebird, and crashed the car into uncle Jesse's pond. Then decided to sue Infiniti.

I'll also add that on the 08 6MT, they addressed a lot of the clutch issues with the 07 models.
For the 08's they added a sport option that comes w/ front sport seats, paddle shifters, aluminum pedals, and bigger breaks that were not available on the 07's. The premium package on the 08 includes an Ipod interface. Aside from that, the changes were minimal.
There are no real tell tale signs that the sedan is a Journey version except that on a bone stock base G35, you cannot get ANY of the options such as premium/tech/sport/performance wheels...

I thought they were talking about the awd X offering the Sport model in 08, but this comment is still incorrect.
The X and XS share the same brake system... they're not bigger in the XS

Base car has single CD player, Journey adds CD changer, power passenger seat and rear vents. Sunroof is stand alone option for Journey, or part of premium package.
My car is a Journey with no other options.
08 adds standard XM. There is also a software update to the engine/transmission, and I think the 08 brakes are a little more durable (can anyone confirm on the brakes?)
Yes, thanks for the corrections AesonVirus and G35Now. Indeed I was referring to the 5AT Journey/X Sport kit that they added to the 08 models...if I had known they would have done that, I would have waited.
On a minor note, I noticed in a 08 loaner that the heated seat buttons have two lights in each switch (one light on each side), rather than just the one light per switch on my 07. Like I said, it's a really minor thing, but in the dark its a nice thing...
