How wide can I go?

How wide can I go on stock G35S rims? Does anyone have picks of wider tires on stock rims? Thanks

I was wondering the same thing, the section width of our tires is definitely narrower than the width of the rim. I was thinking of going up one size in section width and down one in aspect ratio to maintain approximately the same sidewall and overall height so the speedometer and ABS/VDC are not affected.

He's asking how wide on STOCK wheels, not aftermarket.

I remember seeing someone who plus sized the tires.

235/50/18 and 255/45/18 a I remember.

I was thinking about this more, on my truck I have 20x8" rims and run a 275/45/20, our rears are 8.5" rims (on the sport), so you could run at least a 275 out back assuming there are no rubbing issues in the wheel well.

thats a good point, BUT. ur truck has 45 series side walls, which means the side wall is taller, which translates to more stretch between the tread and bead.

275/40 on an 8.5 rim is 1/2 an inch off, the manufacture recommends at least a 9 inch wheel for that tire.
it will fit, i have done it. but ur just about at the limit.
