just keep everything documented. to put it into perspective, guys are having their revup motors replaced 2 and 3 times on the 05-07 6MT coupes and they're not being bought back as lemons. so i don't think you're in that boat yet.
I don't think you can lemon it, where are you located again? Lemon laws are different state to state, but in more cases in order to lemon the car you it has to be in the shop at least 3 times to try to fix the same problem, but if they can't then you can attempt to lemon it.
Not sured if this help!! Try unplug the battery and leave it for 5 minute them put it back on.Check for light.Just try..nothing to loose.

in sued audi for lemon law before and have a good attorney if you need. It's normally if you have the same part replaced 3 times and also another if you car is the shop for X amount of days total. PM if you want the number and name of my attorney. Just FYI... lemon law is a LONG process, mine took 16 months to settle. but the more than happens during the case the stronger it gets.
You have Borla exhaust on your car. You had exhaust sensor problem. I don't think you can do much. They can even refuse to fix it under warranty if it is related to the exhaust since it is aftermaket not the original.
What other mods you have in work?

but they did fix it under warranty um i didnt have to pay for it soo idk man im gonna see wats gonna happen
1. Why not take it to a different dealer/service department?
2. Maybe take it to a shop that isn't Infiniti and ask them to run a diagnostic on the error. I'm not too techy but aren't the error codes pretty universal these days?
3. You can consider Lemon Law but I think one of the previous posters has a good point about the potential that the exhaust system COULD have something to do with it so if you take the Lemon Law route make sure you have a very good mechanic rule that out as a possibility. Also, the item that must be repaired three times (depending on your state) may not apply to the service engine light. Again, I'm not an attorney but I've been through a Lemon Law case (and won) but I'm sure the argument would be that the service light signifies many potential problems and by fixing different things each time they will probably argue that each fix was for a different problem so therefore, not 3 times for the same issue so no Lemon Law case. Not trying to dissuade you but I would definitely speak with an attorney very soon if you are even contemplating this course as you could find out you have a great case or you will get yourself all riled up for no good reason and may not be able to fall back on the Lemon Law. But definitely keep us posted.
Most states' Lemon Laws cover all attorney expenses if you win your case so typically attorneys will look at your case and tell you that they will not charge you anything unless you win. If you don't have a rock solid case, they won't take it b/c they know the chances that they will get paid for their time on a less than great case is a waste for them. Have a conversation with a Lemon Law specialist and see what they say. If they don't take the case - you probably wouldn't win anyway. At least they can give you some advice for documentation, etc. to build a case to revisit it at some point.
Surely they'll tell you to escalate to Infiniti corporate. This would be your best bet. Why? Because Infiniti corporate is a joke. I've called corporate, written to the CEO, etc on a problem I had with my last car (not the problem, the fact that it took them almost 4 weeks to get the part shipped to the dealer! - long story and very bad dealer owner - won't go into it). The responses were either non-existent or form letters that were meaningless. Had I needed this info for court I believe that anyone who would see how poorly Infiniti handles their escalated cases would feel more sympathy for the owner. Again, no guarantees but my guess is it might help on many levels.
So keep us posted on whatever you do but don't expect to just pull the Lemon Law card and expect anything other than additional frustration. Maybe try some of the other suggestions first.
Good luck and sorry you are having the problem!
