Well this happens, when you jump your battery the alternator then takes over the charging and if you drive for a while it can fully charge it however the OEM batteries are not the best to say the least, but iv luckily only have to jump mine once in over 22+months of owning, i do recommend changing it if you have loose change

Man....I guess I've been lucky. I leave my car parked in a lot every other month, and have never had battery issues. Might be time to look into it just in case though.

I meant to ask this before...can you jumpstart the '07 by popping the clutch? I wasn't sure if it could be done as I didn't know if you could even get the car to an "on" position if the battery was dead.

Well took it to JBA today after jumping it YET again to get it there. Service manageer (Tracy- always nice to me) tells me they will look at it and replace my keys since they have been "upgraded" and I never have both of them on me when I go in there....

Stupid tech guy comes to me and trys to tell me that "Here in MD we have such varying weather temps that it causes batteries to drain really fast"...

I was in my uniform so I guess he thought I was from somewhere else or that me as a girl would run with that lame excuse....

So I kindly told him "Do I look like I am stupid? I am from here and have NEVER had a problem with ANY of the Nissan family cars I have had since I was 16 1. Quest, 2/3. 300zx 4. Altima and now 5. G35. I also never had a problem with a Daewoo I bought in ALASKA." Something is draining my battery and yall need to find it.

Tracy then said "Dont worry he is not going to be working on your car" cause she saw I was about to lose it. I got a new battery and will drop my car off next week for a few days so they can try to find the problem.

by any chance, do you have a multimeter? if you do, run outside with it next time you have this kind of problem and test the battery yourself. anything much under 12v and the starter doesn't even want to attempt to budge.

this sounds more like a short somewhere than anything else. take out that multimeter and verify you're pushing at least high 13's at the battery terminals while the car is running. you won't idle 14.4v--very few cars ever do, but high 13's are a good indication your alternator is ok.
