30k Service

I am taking my car in for the airbag recall and a few other warranty issues.

My 07G has 35k miles on it and I have never done service on it other than oil changes.

My question is what should I get done at the dealer and what should I do myself??

They want $932 for the 30k service which I dont think is worth it..

I want to do the tranny flush but the guy told me the fluid alone is $250 and you can't do it yourself..

any input is welcome

Thanks that's what I thought but I was wondering about the transmission flush..

I think $932 is crazy!! and he told me it was the minimum required service - yea right!

I don't think you need Tranny Flush right now at 30K. you waste!!
For those services such as Tire rotation/Air Filter/Carbin Air Filter and Oil Change.you can DIY or have your local shop done it for ya.
For 900+ forget it!!

Tranny flush at jiffy lube is 65 bucks and it is the same thing the dealer does. And just like the dealer if they f it up they also pay for the mistake

I guess Jiffy lube won't do it, something about it being sealed and that the dealers are the only ones who can do it, who knows I'm not familiar enough, anyone call BS?

Even with the Premium schedule, that price is still rather high. I'll bet you 70% of it is labor cost.

For schedule 1 and 2, this kit will cover everything you need to do at 30k, plus however much it costs you to get your favorite oil.

i hate to resurrect an old thread...but i'm going in for my 30k service on saturday...did all of you do the tranny flush? also, since i have aftermarket intakes, i don't need new air filters...don't need tire rotation because of staggered setup...

so, they will change my oil, flush the tranny, clean the throttles bodies, and replace the cabin filters? and do the 10000000 point inspection...free car wash...is that it? i would pay 5 hundo max for that...tell me some of your 30k service experiences...

The Nissan Dealership near my house quoted me $300, and they based it on the 07+ 350z 30k service
