Intelligent Key- Low Battery Light wont go off

My battery light when on the other day for the key, I got a new battery at CVS, installed it, but the low battery light still goes on every time I start the car. Do I need to reset the warning light somehow?

I just read the manual online

http://www.infiniti.com/iapps/techpubs

and it would seem that everything you did was fine .. does the keyfob work to unlock and lock the vehicle? Could it be a bad battery.

Try placing the I-key in the slot and start the car and then shut off the car -- see if it resets.

Where's the second fob?
It's not in the car somewhere, is it?

Wife's key worked fine, then I brought mine back out and tried it, now the light went off. Beats me. The other day my NAV screen went totally dead too, could not change the radio or anything until I turned the car off and back on again.

This happened to me last week. I grabbed my other brand new key and it also showed low battery. I bought two new batteries, pressed it two or three times like the manuel said and it worked like a charm.
