Auto Up feature for driver side window

Alright so I've posted threads about this problem more than once. Back in October they attempted to reapir the continuous problem with my driver side auto-up feature for my power window going out. Back in october they had an Infiniti Electrical "Specialist" come out to inspect and repair the problem. They mentioned that there were no electrical problems detected and that it may have been a result of detaching the battery cable that caused it to not function properly. Mind you I've never touched the battery cable on this car, so when it comes to them trying to repair it for the 6th time they tried to put the blame on me! So they "tamper proofed the battery cables" so this way the next it happens they would be able to determine if it was in fact caused by "someone" lossening the battery cable. Anywayz tonight the problem started all over again. This would be the 7th repair attempt and ive owned the car now for 15 months and it has 20K miles. Where do I go from here, lemon law? Im interested in your opinions fellas. Ive tried two different dealerships to attempt to fix the problem.

What exactly is the problem you're experiencing with the windows?

I had the same problem with the auto up feature on my drive side window too. I took it to Cerritos Infiniti, they tampered with it and the problem did get better. But sometimes it would still happen, after a couple of months the problem went away completely.

i have this same problem. what happens is when you use the auto up on the drivers side window it goes up all the way but once it reaches the top it goes back down 3 inches. This only happens when you use auto so if you use the manual and roll the window up it will stay like that at the top. It only recently started this on my car and its got 40k miles on it.

Nobody is going to lemon law a car because the auto up feature of one window doesn't work. You've been to the same dealer six times already to have this fixed? They are able to replicate the problem when you take it in, right? If so, it's time for you to demand that they replace all of the electronics in the door that have anything to do with the window operation. If they say no, you can try another dealer, or talk to a regional manager. Legal action, if necessary, would generally only reimburse you for getting it fixed somewhere else.
