vdc and slip light on?
sup guys, i have a 07' G35 sedan and my slip light and vdc comes on and stays on until i restart my car. This happens sometimes randomly or when i push the vehicle. I've read on this forum that it may be due to low brake fluid or the rear pads being worn down, but I have taken it to my local infiniti dealership and they said that they checked for the rear brake pads and fluid being low and it wasn't the issue. They also said that they did not notice that the vdc or slip light coming on when they tested the car. I find that hard to believe cause when i left the dealership, it happened within 5 mins of driving. I've noticed that the condition happens more frequently when I am utilizing the "manual mode" instead of the "automatic mode". Is the dealership jerking me around? or is there another issue that could be causing this issue? i have over 40K miles on the vehicle and I have not replaced the brake pads or caliphers. what do you think guys? thanks again.

take a video of it happening, and show them the video next time ur bring it in and say u want a loaner until they find the problem and fix it, and you want a report of what was replaced/fixed.
while the dealer has your car, call infiniti national and explain the situation, create a record of the problem with them, and keep them updated every time some thing changes

Fellas, it happens to me everyday on my way to work and what will usually happen is the e-brake light will come on, then followed by the VDC off and SLIP. This happens when you push on the throttle a lot when coming out of a turn. I spoke to the Infiniti Serivce rep at Glendale Infiniti and they notified me that its completely normal and the car is "doing its job". Basically whats happening is that your experiencing wheel slip at one of the rear wheels, so what will happen is that the computer will detect which wheels is experiencing "slip" and over compensate to make sure your not loosing traction at that wheel. I guess thats why they installed the Limited Slip differential on the Sport models to avoid this from occuring.

My Dealer Service guy says I would have to bring it in so they can test it. They said it could be the ABS system or even the steering angle sensor.
Shiznitts, I just made 3 trips to get my doors fixed, now this .
It's a 2 hour drive each way.
I am leaving it unless it gets worse.
