Torque #'s anyone?

I've scoured through the FSM (or at least i think it's the complete book) and couldn't find the torque #'s for tightening the suspension and/or brake bolts when reassembling.

Would it be safe to follow that from, say, a Maxima? (My old car, for which i have the #'s for). I'm not a fan of "as tight as you can"

If anyone has the actual numbers, or a good ballpark range, i'd truly appreciate it.

Thank you.
- Mike

p.s. I'll be swapping suspension components and possibly brake parts.

I just replaced my rear pads and I also was unable to find torque #'s for the caliper bolts.
I had to go with "Really friggen tight", but I'm also interested in a source for finding this sort of info.

Have you downloaded the Infiniti Service Manual? It's broken up into multiple PDF files. The one labeled BR.PDF is for the brakes. Look at the diagrams in that document and you'll see little wrench symbols which represent the torque specification. For example, on page 42 you'll find the diagram of the front disc brakes. Look at the diagrams in FSU.PDF for the front suspension and RSU.PDF for the rear suspension.

Are those what they are? LOL.

Okay, i'm looking at FSU-19. There are three sets of numbers after the wrench icon, "59.5 (6.1, 44)" for example. I'm guessing the first number is the torque rating, but what are the other two?

Thank you.

They're all torque specifications. Your example would be 59.5 Nm OR 6.1 m Kg OR 44 ft lb. All the same torque, just listed on different scales.
