Car got broken into... Need some info

Hey guys, so today i come out to see my passenger window was broken, and my V1 and navigation system were stolen out of the car.

I would like to know if anyone knows what a passenger window would run me on this thing

Any clue.

2008 G35 Sedan the passenger window w/ ceramic tint.

I can claim it on my insurance, 500 dollars, but i am affraid my premiums will go up.

Thanks

Since you have the newer body style G sedan. chances are you won't find a window at the junk yard. Try ebay, craigslist.. if not you better off going to the dealership.

Save the dealership route as the last resort. Try those auto glass places that repalce windshields. A good one may have side windows as well. When I had to replace my 350Z windshield when the car was literally 2 months on US streets, An auto glass place had a PPG windshield and windows for it at my pleasant surprise.
Navigation as in the factory navigation? Or some portable unit? Can't imagine someone stealing the NAV out of our cars. It's not exactly easy to remove.

sorry to hear that man, hopefully you can find a auto glass place instead of going to the dealership.

Looks like the aftermarket has our windows available. I just went to the Safelite website and punched in the info you gave and it spit out $404 including labor. Try it out, sounds kind of high but at least it gets you in the ball park. Also, they let you make an appointment at your closest Safelite.

ya it does suck pretty bad, i do appreciate everyones help and good wishes.

I did talk to my agent and he claims that my rate will not increase, but i find that hard to believe.

I can pay 500 bucks and then they will cover everything.

There are a few scuff marks inside, but i doubt they will just pay for those, they will claim that the damage was already there i am sure.

I will have to wait til the morning to check out with a body shop to see the total cost and all.

Thanks again guys, i will update with pics soon, and more updated info as i get it.

I doubt your premium will go up very much if you went through your insurance, but if there is an aftermarket option that is cheaper than what your deductible costs then go with that (see safelite link above). Good luck

an auto glass shop would run you much less than your 500 deductible. Also the 08 Sedan is the same as the 07 for the window so these auto glass shops should have it... shouldnt take long to install either.

Was the quote high becasue it included repalcement of interior panels? If this is just the glass I would run from that place.
