Anyone else experience a ticking noise from the belt? Is this normal or is it something I should have replaced?

Also, sometimes after driving for a while I'll hear a low audible "hum" or "tone" coming from the rear of the car. It goes away when I accelerate, but when sitting at lights I can hear it. It disappears when the car is shut off. Any idea what this is?

 

Check to see if the ticking if coming from the injectors. If so, that is normal.

Not sure about the hum.

In either case, the car is under warranty, so the dealer can check it out for you.

 

Exhaust hum?! Drone?!

 

I'll take it in...just don't want to make the 90 minute drive to the nearest Infiniti dealer. Would the Nissan dealer take a look at well?
