How do YOU make your G35 Sedan faster?

wow you guys are helpful....
Basically the best you can do is a turbo kit for the $/hp. Otherwise you will spend thousands on a few dozen horses and a small "seat of your pants" power increase.
Especially since you are looking towards the AWD option.
This isn't the crx with a cheap headswap/lsx with a new intake manifold type of car.

IMO, spend the money on suspension (if you're not getting an X). Although it won't make you "faster," you'll be able to drive "faster" depending on your skill level/driving experience. What I mean is that you'll be able to get on the gas faster in a turn versus a car that doesn't have upgrades. You'll also gain more stability in a straight line, again versus a car that doesn't have upgrades.
Other than a turbo, spending money on N/A upgrades is like pissing it away. You may as well go to Vegas and at least have fun with the money if you're going to give it away

i actually agree with this...
no minor bolt ons or tweaks will really give the car a big difference.
unless you do turbo/supercharger, you're talking a few real HP's or torque #'s, none of which you will really significantly feel as WOW, the G is really fast now!
as for drop ins, yes i'm talking hiflow (again, no major feel difference, but a bit better throttle response). the stock filters are not like k&n or hks.
so far, and only my opinion here, i think the retune or bullydog is the easiest best bang for the buck power mod (around $350-450).
intakes will help the throttle response, maybe even add a couple HP (and probably loss of trq), but for that money, it's more of a noise maker really. exhaust comes in at a close 2nd (incl. x or h pipe, or hi flo cat).
the G's pretty well engineered as is, and there's really not too much room for improvements, which is a good thing.
