How to fix passenger seat?

I'm in desperate need of help!
I shipped the car overseas (extended business trip), and during the transport chemical spilled on my driver's seat (2007 G35 Journey Sedan) -- and totally destroyed leather (the seat is hard as wooden board, lol).
The country I'm currently in, has no Infiniti dealership/service.
I can try to take the leather of the bottom myself, but -- how difficult that task is? If it isn't, I would have my brother send me replacement, but again... how easy/difficult is to completely exchange leather from the seating part of the seat (luckily there is no damage on back rest part).

Good people, any suggestions? Local upholstery is no option, as they obviously have no access to original Infiniti leather...

Thanks in advance to any help, idea, suggestion, etc!

long story... nothing hazardous, just made leather hard and shrunk it like it was burned

You can buy the lower seat cover & have it shipped.
A local upholstery shop could do the install for you.

Seat needs to be out... but it's not that hard. Few bolts and disconnect the cables will do.

Good luck.

why not just wait until you're back to get it fixed?
