ya this is totally different, it does not affect the tuning on your car at all, all it does is to make the accelerator think its pressed further than youre actually pressing and thus making the car "feel" faster while you wont be gaining any power. It should however imo help rid of the hesitation that the drive by wire throttles have.

There are a few others as well that you might wanna check out before buying, all do the same thing but some have already been used by the Z/G community with positive results(Blitz and Sprint booster come to mind). I plan to get one to help the accel. react quicker to make rev matchin quicker.
