Its normal if the car is in OFF position and the chiming continues until the door is closed. not really sure what the issue is that youre having, elaborate?

I'm not sure what your exact issue is but if you open your door to get out before you shut your car off, it will let you know. It will chime until you close the door and lock.

What your headlights, are they set to the "on" position rather than "auto" or "off?"

It could be that you have your headlights ON.

Mine chirps occasionally after turning the car off, headlights on "auto", doors closed. Open the door, get out and shut it and the chirping stops.....WTF....whats the fix?
