Adjusting windshield wiper travel

Hello. I have recently had the dealer change my wiper blades, and it seems they now stop shorter from the left end (drivers side) of the windshield than they used to (1.5-2.5 in). In addition, if there's a lot of water they are pushing, they end up dragging some of it back over the windshield.

Is there a way to adjust the travel of the arm so it would go right to the edge and push off most of the water?

Thanks in advance!

I recently had my w/shield replaced and thought that one of my wipers didn't travel the way I thought it should. I went back to the replacer and he opened the hood, popped off the little cover, took off the nut (size ???) and just repositioned the arm. If I realized it was that easy, I woulda done it myself.

I was thinking of trying that, after examining the structure of the arm yesterday, but wanted to wait to see if there's a different way of doing it. Thanks for confirming!

Loosening the nut and moving the arm worked!

That would have been my suggestion. Glad it worked out.
