Question Hiding the radar detector power adaptor

Hey Guys n Gals!

I just recently picked up my G and the first little thing that I would like to take care of would be hiding my Escort's power adaptor and get it out of the of cigarette lighter.

I know of the product that I am
going to purchase going to purchase
so that's not the problem, however I was wondering the best way to wire it to have it come out near the Rear View mirror.

In my previous car, a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R, I simply tapped in to the radio power behind the head unit and ran the cable up the A pillar and over the roof line, however with the G I am worried because it is.. well, it's just nicer.

What would be the best way to go about doing this? Could I do it the same way in the G as I did in my Sentra? I have tried to search for something similar or even something to give me a place to start however I am running in to dead ends or getting distracted with other silly mod's like painting headlight shrouds..

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!
Mike

Actually, most of us use Stealth Cords or similar that actually tap into the powered rear vew mirror.

I have my 9500ix mounted to the left side of the drivers license and have a long piece of stealth cord tucked into the headliner coming from the mirror.

And welcome to the G family!

Wow, dumb jokes rock.
