Hey how are yall doing?
I have a 08 g35x and honestly it feels like im putting gas in it every two days the mileage changes
i start the car the range said 153mi then i drive a couple blocks away then it says 55 miles
also one day i had 40 miles left then it cut off on me because i ran out of gas
please any suggestion would help thank you

 

are you filling the tank completely? How many miles on the trip odometer do you get to empty? Should get over 300 miles per tank mixed driving.

Fill tank
Set odometer to zero
Drive 300 miles
Refill tank to full
Divide 300 miles by gallons to fill up = your MPG
don't go by the vehicle computer unless you reset it at every fil up
Many have reported problems with the gas gauge reading

 

yea i am my gas level usually moves up and down on second it will be near F then half a tank within minutes

 

Follow the troubleshooting steps in the FSM to check resistance on the fuel pump sender. Should be in section DI.
