People who installed Eibach springs...

I'm looking to get some Eibach Pro-kit for my car and was wondering if anyone can recommand me a shop around Orange County. I know I can drive about 1 hour and find lots of good shops from my place, but I'd rather go to one that's closer from my place. BTW, I live in Garden Grove.

Oh, and if you actually installed the kit I mentioned above, can you please PM with the price you've actually paid (parts and labor)?

I'd much appreciate your help.

i don't know the rates, but these shops should be able to do it, and i'd go to them (they may not be the cheapest):

corner3 in lake forest
dynamic auto in lake forest
xs engineering in garden grove

I'm thinking they do,
best thing is for you to call them,

they moved to Garden Grove, next to the DMC DeLorean factory, it's weird, you see like a bunch of back to the future cars just sitting around...

they do alot of stuff, i think they sell suspension parts too, so changing springs should be super easy for them, it's more like if they can find time not tuning cars, lol

- corner3 garage does alot of nissan related stuff, been to them, they are good
- dynamic sells alot of goodies, i know they dyno tune too and probably can install springs as well
- xs, well, koji tuned my apex power fc standalone ems for my old car, top notch job

Thanks for the useful info.

I just called XS (and yeah, they did move to Westminster/Harbor location), and they quoted me $105/hr labor charge, although they're not sure how long it would take them since they've never done spring change on an G35.

I usually go to HW Motorsport on Harbor Blvd (very close from XS) to get my tires, and I know that they do the springs, but I'm not sure how good they are.

Anyways, thanks again for some very useful info.

Although that alignment is a tad a big on the expensive side, If you want to do it right....yes, that sounds about correct. Dropping a car is not cheap, as I learned the hard way

Fronts are quite straight forward and are like any regular strut assembly in a Honda, Nissan, etc.....maybe 30-45 min per side. The rears are super easy...maybe 10-15 min per side for a first timer.

If you're willing to drive to Baldwin Park, Street Image did a awesome job for $100 (great group of guys). Look for MEECHIN on the southern california regional forum. His name is DRU and works there (or ask for Eric). I'm sure he can get you the springs also.
