Paddle Shifters on base model, problem!

I was installing the DIY for the paddles and when I got to the part where you install the paddles I found that there is no wiring for them. I don't understand, need help. Are the taped cables visible or do I need to getthem from behind somewhere?? I'm out ideas.

It is really strange, I thought it would have been readily visible, but there is no trace of the wiring. No taped plugs or anything. The funny thing is that they sold me the steering plastic casing for a base G35 (we don't have power column adjuster, it is manual). So it appears as if the paddles due exist for base trim.

If they are there, they should be visible.
Keep in mind that the plug ends are wrapped in foam and tape... but I'm sure you know that and if you're anything like me, you've looked for those wires for hours now.

As far as i'am concerned they should be the same. I have never noticed any difference from the cars in the island from the ones from the states.
