How can you tell you gained 2 rwhp?

Same car, same conditions, a dyno can change 5rwhp or more.

Here's the problem.

Same car, same dyno, same conditions...... can vary up to 5 rwhp.

You're never going to see a 2 hp difference.

I have dynoed with and without an air filter before. There wasn't even a 3hp difference (average) between the two.

K&N are good if you go through a lot of filters. If not, it's a waste of $$ IMO.

Waste of money?

Well my friends... I may have just wasted some cash then.... picked it up today... will let you know what I notice... I am unbiased as I didn't really care one way or another about it, just thought I would give it a shot and see what it is like. I can always go back to an OEM if I decide to... otherwise I will never know for myself!

Hope it works... but skeptical...

Aaron

Well, Just installed it, took no time at all (glad for that, crazy hot here in Dallas!)... Took it around the block, noticed a deeper growl only about 3-4K RPMs.... not my typical driving habbits so there might not even be a difference, but it is a nice note none the less. No feel of more power... no sound change at idle.... Give it a while and we will see how MPG does....

where is the second air filter?

I replaced the one in the front in a vertical position with a K&N.
Is there a second filter needed somewhere?
