LED Light Sizes

I have a 2008 G35 and wanted to replace the map lights, door lights, trunk and license plate bulbs with LED lights. I was going to order from superbrightleds.com but didnt know the sizes I would need for replacement. Would anyone be kind enough to help me with this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated

bulb #168 is the replacement size you need for map driver & passenger doors and rear maps.

I have been researching the LED replacements for quite a while trying to figure out a combination to my liking. First, here is where you would order them from: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR

You want to fin the wedge base bulbs for all the ones you want to replace. Second, if you did a search, you will find a number of different preferences for bulbs. Let me let you know what I got: 921-x9 Wedge Base LED bulb for the map lights, WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb for the door lights and trunk, and WLED-WHP Pure White High Power for the license plate. I have a black on black 08 G35 so I liked the cool white color which has a bit of a blue tint to it. For some perspective, look at this thread below, you will see a picture with some cool white LEDs. In my opinion, however, the blue tint is NOT that blue, at least not in my car. I don't know how Csquared's came out so blue.
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ould-leds.html

Now if you read some more, you will find some controversy with people who do and do not like the blue tint. For the blue tint, you would get the ones I mentioned above. If you want a truly white LEd, you would want to get the WLED-xHP6 Wedge Base Bulbs. These are called surface mount LEDs (SMTs). These will be significantly brighter than the normal LEDs I used but its a matter of preference. You will see a lot of debate on the map lights, some using 5 LEDs and some using 12 LEDS. I didn't want something too dim or too bright so went with the 9 LEDS and love them. Lastly, I actually purchased my WLED5 bulbs from ebay since superbrightleds was out of the cool white in the WLED5. IF you are willing to wait, feel free, or you can get them from ebay or v-leds.com. Good luck

Sorry for the thread jack, but does anyone know the bulbs size for the glovebox?

My service guy told me it's not 168 or 194

And also the visor festoon bulb size?

If you're looking for blue LEDs just go to superbrightleds.com and get their blue 5 W-LED bulbs in 168/194 fitment. That'll give a good amount of light output too.

v-leds.com is another option.

I'm looking for the glove and visor lights but I think I may just leave them as is since I won't be able to find the bulbs that'll match the rest of my LEDs.
I have LEDs that match the stock xenon/lexus lights pretty well

Mine have been running strong for about 5 months now

I figured the glovebox and visors aren't too important anyways since they hardly ever get opened and they're not noticeable anyways. (plus all the girls I've had in my old car with white visor lights bitch about the fact that the light doesn't let them see their makeup properly lol)
