vinyl overlay?? anyone make there own??

so the black roof overlay that bluebat offers...is this something that we could go out and buy the same material and cut it to the exact size of the roof, and apply? I assume that would be much cheaper...what do you guys think??

yeah that would definitely be cheaper, i think it would have to be two pieces though...

^^^ let me know also..im trying to vinyl my whole car and ive found a few sites/place to get a big piece of vinyl....but it is easier installing in 2 pieces... but 1 piece is a little bit more labor intensive etc etc

Trust me guys, 2 piece vinyl overlays will peel over time. 1 piece overlays look way better.

There's a place in ATL that does full vinyl wraps. I've been contemplating getting my G wrapped in a matte black vinyl and getting some wheels to boot.

Sounds like something that may look good from 20 ft away, but up close, I dunno.

some guys actually do some crazy work and it'll look like paint. but u have to pay the price for work like that.
stickercity in socal do some crazy work. they vinyl lambo's and benz's
everythin and it looks amazing.

well some people dont want to ruin the original color of the car...and some people have leases...thats the whole purpose
