license plate LEDs.

i replaced my stock yellow license plate bulbs with white LED bulbs a few months ago. today, i noticed that one of them is off, and the other is flickering. they are both 4xLED bulbs from superbrightleds.com. after trying the bulbs in the other socket, i came to the conclusion that the bulb that was out is burnt, its garbage now. and the one that flickering, was half working. its a 4xLED bulb, and 2 of those 4 are lit, and the other 2 are flickering. im assuming that one would go out in the near future. i was happy that i didnt burn a socket out, and that it was only the bulbs, but im bothered now. for now, i put my stock bulbs back in and they work. but what could be the problem here? does superbrightleds.com make a crappy bulb? im confused. i want my white license plate lights back! =( anybody? thanks in advance

SuperbrightLEDS, makes crappy bulbs hahaha. I've burnt a bunch out already, well 1 on in my headlight, understandable because of the heat, but one of mine on the back was flickering too no idea why. I think they warranty the bulbs.

I've heard that you shouldn't get those multi LED lights from there... A guy that did his WHOLE M35 had them, and they would burn out, flicker/strobe after a short time. He recommended me to get the single LED bulb that's all white base with a really strong LED, and I got it for about 3 months now, without a problem and i drive at night every day....

i have a bunch of the single LED bulbs from them, but they don't put out enough light for the license plate. the stock yellows are def. stronger

I got these for my license plate:

http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

They're plenty bright, and the metal surround helps to dissipate heat to help it run cooler.

The main thing is you need to use lower bright for the license plate and the Parking City Light and you should be ok.

the single LED light that i bought were plenty bright enough for the license plate... It actually lights up the ground behind my car quite a bit, about 3.5 feet wide, and ~2 feet behind my car....

I can later, but I have to go to work. These are very well made and they use SMT technology type LEDs and not the cheap types.

These are hard to photograph, so they're the best of the ones I took.

all my white bulbs are from superbrightleds.com. i had them on my previous car and my current G. i have two single led bulbs in the headlights for over a year now, still working perfectly. i have two 12 led bulbs in the map light inside over a year and a half, still working. just recently changed the licence plate lights to 4 led bulbs just over two months now. maybe u just got a bad batch.
