Can any of u guys measure the distance from the ground to the car? Preferably, the wheel well part behind the front wheel and the part right in front of the rear wheel to the floor?

I wanna see whats the drop difference from stock to the drop. Thanks.

^ the best way to measure drop is from the center of the axle to the top of the wheel arch.
This way eliminates any differences due to wheel & tire sizes.
You can then extrapolate your individual clearances.

Hey Ian!! nice display picture!!!

it works out in my case since eug is running the same rim/tire size as I am at the present time (I think at least; if those are Eagle RS-A's).

Ya know... I'm with Wes on this one.
We're both wanting Impuls, but the cost of getting them here is a tad high. These Eibachs are damn nice, but we're both concerned about ride height as well.

We understand that the correct and accurate way of determining the drop amount is by measuring the center of the hub to the fender, but we both want to know what the final ride height and ground clearance is as well.

Can someone hook us up with those numbers?

Wes... I'm with you on this one. If ride height works out, I'm picking these up.

Yes, eibachs have been on my mind 24/7 :S Unfortunately. So im trying to figure things out.

Do we know if the SPC front camber kit will work with AWD? Will you get a front camber kit? im thinking I will if I go with a drop.

Maybe if Eug doesnt mind, I wouldnt mind seeing his car this weekend! lol Just to check out the drop. What do you think Eug? hehe

If I remember correctly, the camber kit does fit the X. Yeah, I'll be getting it if it fits. I can't afford new tires every year. LOL
I'm still a little concerned about premature shock wear, but F it.
The warm weather is back, the 19's will be back on soon and this wheel gap has to go asap. It bugs the **** outta me!!!

My car was the test car and I can assure you the SPC Front camber kit will fit on your car as I have it on my car.

Tomorrow I'll measure the height when I get home from work.

Ya, F the premature shock wear. When it wears out, then we can get upgrade shocks! :P lol

It sucks because I will be putting my 19's on for the first time soon and yet, this whole dropping the car.. and that HUGE gap is raining on my parade... :S

Instead of just being happy... I want more UGGHH!!! so annoying lol

And lately, thats what everyone has been getting! DROP THIS! DROP THAT! lol 808mike just posted pics of his ride... beautiful drop with his G37 rims.. so envious.

You guys are real teases. I would love to give mine a bit of a drop, but I bottom out now on stock suspension with my X on our roads in the winter, and the odd time when I get carried away exploring roads in the summer.
I have to stay with the 4x4 but practical look.

Thats the mentality that Aeson and I share..nonetheless, it seems like we still want to make a push for a drop

Thats why I still struggle with it. Finding the balance between practicality and performance. My problem is, I tend to drive passengers too... and I have bottomed out in the past with 5 passengers on stock suspension..what more with a drop... :S

I dunno.. Its a tough one. But I want it!!!! lol

I dont think I'll ever own an exotic impractical car... hence, I feel like my G is the closest shot I have to it. So if I do a drop on it, Im that much closer to my "dream" car. Get my drift?

Yeah, I hear mine hitting the snow underneath as well.
I'll be plowing the roads next winter for sure.
