got my oem front lip today from the dealer. They qouted me $510 but got them to discount it since I have ordered through them in the past.

Total $360 ! I just wanted to see from the people who have installed these if there was anything I should do or avoid doing during the install?

Thanks

It's an easier install than the normal bumper lip.
Nothing special to worry about.

$360?? Just for installation? or for paint as well?

If you have proper tools it took me less than 1 1/2 hours to do it, its so easy and I'm not even that hands on to car.

If its $360 just labor wise, I think its too much did you shop around? $200 is max IMO.

Ok I noticed that you quoted from the "dealership" ?? If I were you, that is the last place where I want it done because the dealership quote is so expensive.

I'm sure in San Antonio, you can find a good body shop/collision center that will do less than that.

Just shop around but if you feel more comfortable doing it with dealership, then go for it.

Nice deal. The install is straight forward. I cannot imagine anyone having a problem with it. Apply templates, drill holes, apply the lip... done!

this was all that was in the box: LIP & pack of screws taped to inside of box.

what does the template look like?
what doe the instructions say?

all you have to do is apply screws first then pull the adhesive tapes off?
