why? its the same wt output as the stock halogen. PLUS hids are known for or are supposed to run cooler than the halogen bulbs.

Done and done Now have them running as DRLs with a KP module. White fogs, while appearance-only mostly, look great on a Blue Slate sedan.

Why place a bulb that was meant to be used in a projector housing, in a regular holagen housing? ...great mod to blind the f outta on comming traffic. Just be mindful of that. Some folks may get pissed and think you have your high beams on. Trust me, know plenty of people who do the same thing.

How come you went with 55W? That could cause problems. I installed 3K 35W fogs on my G.

Why do folks always say that. HIDs are not just meant for applications with projector housing. My 02 Maxima didnt have projector housing but it came with HID's stock. I do however agree that the glare it gives off is directly related to the housing it's used in.

A quick question i have. Im going back n forth on getting either HID's in my fogs or LEDs. 1 concern for me is I have HID's in my Avalanche both lows and fogs, and with either of them on i lose reception on my radio. It picks up static. So I went and bought the wiring harness to go off the batt and no difference. Do you have this problem with HIDs in your fog lights?

Another reason I decided to forgo HID fogs is the possibility of being hi-beamed by oncoming traffic.
