Back up camera and subwoofers
Back up camera and subwoofers
I have read different threads, but I want a straight answers and how to do it if possible.
If I wanted to install a back-up camera into my 2007 G35 6MT, and have the backup camera come on without me having to flip switches, could I? I do use the AUX for my ipod. I do have the nav
Is there anyway to put a subwoofer and a amp into the car? Again, I do have nav.
This is a 2007 G35 Sport 6MT.

Re: subwoofer and amp
Sure. The bose amp in the trunk outputs a line level output to the powered bose "subwoofer" in the rear deck. You can splice into these to get your audio line and also power-on signal. Refer to the service manual for which wires. You then only need a power line from the battery compartment to your trunk. I think there are a some threads discussing that.

No. that is not what I am saying. I'm saying the bose amp has line level sub outputs you can feed to your own powered sub. i doubt the bose powered sub has very much power at all.
