I got the chromed 7440 bulbs from xenomods a while ago based on that thread and am very happy with the result (amber turns) and lack of "yolk" in my headlight housing. In comparison, my orange parking lights were replaced white LEDs from Idjmtoy but only lasted for 5 months before kicking the bucket.

Try these chrome bulbs. They are Philips bulbs which are much better in quality than some other generic ones out there. I've had mine over a year now and am very happy with them!

I think there is a brighter version bulb out there too since some think these are not bright enough.
