Sirius or XM Radio ????
Sirius or XM Radio ????
I have a 2007 G35X came with a Sirius radio Receiver. I did not take the subscription after the 3 month trial. I do have an XM Radio in our CRV with a subscription plan. Would the dealer make a swap in the radio Receivers?? I've contacted Sirius/XM - there is no Combo Plan....they keep telling me that it will in the future. I can not receive XM broadcasts on a Sirius radio either. No sense to pay additional fees on the G, since it s only driven minimally right now.
Plese let me know if anyone has done the Swap..THX

How did you get a Sirius receiver on your G? I take it it's aftermarket? It's interesting that you can't get XM on Sirius, since there's a package available to existing XM subscribers to include the Sirius channels.
I think it depended on the market where the car was sold. I was in the opposite situation, I had siruis then the G has XM. I hated XM until they merged the channels over. They wont do the swap... you will have to get it done somewhere like best buy
I think PINKII is right. Depends on the market location. believe me mine came with a Sirius radio, 3 month subscription that I never extended. You guys seem to indicate that Sirius is better, why? Howard Stern? Anyway, with the stock price of XM/Sirius at pennies a share - it won't be long until the gov't Bails Out Satellite radio too....That will help me make the decision.!!
