HID fog lights

I am wanting to replace the fog lights since we all know in stock form they are virtually useless. I have found some on ebay, for a decent price, but I am wondering if anybody else on here has done an HID conversion to their fog lights. And of so, if it was easy to do and if they work better then stock? Here is the link to the page: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TM:MOTORS:1123

I did it. Output is way better, you'd have to remove the airboxes to access the bulbs though.

Can't you also just access the bulbs through the wheel fender? I'm trying to change my HID bulbs and I'm supposed to go under the wheel fender. I heard it's the same with fogs.

Removing the air box takes less than 2 minutes. Once it's out there's plenty of room for your hand to reach in get at whatever you need. If you come in through the wheel fender you still have the air box above to be in the way.

cause they are cheap and will probably mess up sooner. without a proper hid fog housing wont you be blinding oncoming drivers?

Can you replace the headlight bulbs with your method? I rather not have to jack up my car to get to the headlight bulbs. Can you post a DIY of which screws to remove or how many? Thanks!

Check this out. Kregg did an excellent DIY for removing the air box.

This is on my g37, but you should be able to get similar results. They are vled 6000k white. The g37 fogs are adjustable, so I have mine pointed down pretty far to reduce glare. I don't know if the g35 has an adjustment for fogs.

Fogs off

Fogs on
