Even removable vinyl wrap is only guaranteed for so long without it affecting the substrate. 3M, who is considered the leader in vehicle wraps and adhesives, even explicitly states in their warranty sheet that if the wrap is used on horizontal surfaces and gets maximum sun exposure (i.e. southern regions of the US), warranty goes from 5 years to zilch.
I digress, but you get the idea. Just something to be mindful of.

Depending on how you mount it, there's a chance you can't go back to stock as well. For one, you will get uneven weathering on the trunk (including fade) and might get some residue from either tape or other form of adhesive. Anything adhered to painted surfaces that get 100% environmental exposure shouldn't be considered temporary.

does anyone have a link for a current ebay seller that is recommended?
I have a 2008 G35x in Liquid Platinum with reverse camera but I am still trying to decide between:
- G37 OEM lip
- G35 OEM Wing
- Autokits X lip
- eBay spoiler that sits flush on top of the oem chrome spoiler
The problem is that I am in Canada so shipping/duty becomes a concern at some point... so although I really like the two lip spoilers the total cost may push me more towards the cheaper wing or ebay spoiler

I thought the paint job was going to be horrible for such a cheap price. But over all It was well worth the small amount I spent compared to other spoilers.

Installed the lip spoiler today, a couple of tips I discovered by trial and error (aside from using blnewt's DIY):
*Instead of a foam spacer, I used an old sock held down with blue painters tape
*I obtained a copy of the oem installation instructions, and followed the part where you peel the mounting tape about 1/2" away, then fold it over onto the spoiler and tape it down.
*I secured the spoiler almost all the way down with the mounting bolts, then removed the socks
*Once I knew the spoiler was properly aligned, I pulled the remainder of the mounting tape backing away (it'll be snug, but it'll pull away entirely) and pushed the spoiler down to secure it.
*I then tightened the mounting bolts all the way down.
*The outer bolts can be tightened a little snugger than the two inner ones, as they mount to the TBB spacer, which is only held down by the 4 self tapping screws. Knowing that, I didn't want to come anywhere close to overtightening the two inner bolts and possibly stripping the TBB spacer mounting screws.

The stillen spoiler is the best looking out there IMO. I just ordered mine 2 days ago!! (with the chrome part painted same as car color) BTW this is not my car but I think is the best looking IP v36 in the forum.

I like both the OEM trunk lip spoiler & the Stillen, seeing both in person I prefer the OEM but when the chrome lip is painted to match the spoiler the Stillen is a VERY close second, close enough to almost be a tie
Oh, and BTW, for those considering the OEM lip spoiler and are wondering how well it holds WITHOUT drilling the outside holes, mine's been on about a year and it's still holding tight as day 1
