dont get me wrong, you did a great job with the fogs, personally though I am keeping the functionality of the washer fluid (I use it all the time on the east coast).

Your fogs look great! How did you remove the fake vents? I also want to remove mine, but have no idea how to. Thanks!

Thank you sir, yeah to each his own. It almost never rains down here anyways so I have no use for them and also I never use the wiper fluids as well. When it actually does rain I put them on.

Dremel should cut it like butter and best of all, precisely.

heres a semi-nighttime pic comparing my 3k blazers to oem fogs of a 2012 M37 (which are complete crap by the way, you cant even tell when they are on or off) so ive been trying to convince my mom to pay me to replace her fogs with HIDs lmao

like he said its cause he NEVER uses the washer fluid anyway, it would just be throwing money away. OTOH, Maxonn, are you gonna be able to pass inspection without a washer tank & passenger wiper?

Yeah sorry this picture makes me not want to get them,

As for THIS picture. YES! How is this one soo much brighter compared to yours. Does it have to do with the type of projector?

not necessarily the type of projector, but 1) that person has a real camera. i have a shitty POS droid x and cant take real night time pics. 2) its darker out in their pic and they dont have the headlights on either (makes the fogs appear brighter)...not sure how to do that though, maybe just hooked up the fogs to the parking lights?

Yeah i guess. I want them to be really bright. The car in the picture had seperate switch for the fogs. He paid over 1000 bucks.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I didn't want to start a new thread since this one already has so much good fog light info going. I don't plan on shelling out for the Blazers (even though they do look great) cause I have two other options I'm weighing.

I have a set of fogs from a Maxima (06 I think) and I have a set of projector headlights from an A6 (04 I believe). Obviously the Maximas would be pretty standard and I could put HID H2 bulbs in there. Or I was thinking of installing the Audi projectors in the fake mesh area. D2S HIDs of course. Can anyone advise if using headlights as fog lights is a particularly bad idea? I know the beam pattern is designed to be different, but I'm more concerned with the width and intensity of my head+fog combined beam than distance. The crap fogs I have now don't do anything anyway

Post pics of both! I would install whatever looks more OEM! I am pretty sure you could just aim the projectors more to the ground. So you are not blinding no one! I am interested to see the fogs of the Maxima!

Well real winter finally decided to hit Chicago so I wont be doing any major projects for a couple months but I've been itching to do this one for a while. Being on this site put me over the edge!!!

I'll snap some pics of the fogs and projectors to post once I make it back home. The Maxima fogs look like they would be a much better fit for an OEMish look but I think having the Audi projectors in there would be badass and bright as all hell. Part of me wants to install both sets for that 1997 "I have a Civic but look how many pairs of fog lights I can fit on it" look..... jk
