Winter car washing
Winter car washing
So after driving a lot in the winter weather, my G35X looks so dirty.
I want to give it a car wash but not via the machines that seem to wreak so much havoc.
I found a place that has self washing service. Thing is, I've never washed a car before. What should I be doing? I've read around but everyone says something different.
A friend said to make sure to wash the wheel wells.
Help much appreciated for a noobie!

If you dont know how to wash a car, take it to a car wash lol.
Other wise, put tokens in, hose car down good, fill your bucket with soap then run it out of water. Wash car top to bottom with soapy mitt, put tokens in, and rinse. Get a microfiber drying towel and wipe it dry.

Do what Wannabe said,, since he and i are from up north where WE have to wash our cars LOTS of times a WEEK! But yes try to find a place where u can do it your self, with a high pressure spray hose/nozzle gun,,, then u can spray under car.....

You should be using the "2 bucket technique" at the very minimum.
If you don't give a **** about the car, then soap it up and wash away. However, if you care what the paint looks like, take it to a professional then read up on the matter so you don't screw it up and scratch the paint.
